Sunday school teacher arrested for the kidnapping and murder of 8 year old Sandra Cuntra. A grissley scene as the body of this little girl was found in a suitcase by people draining a cannel. Quote: "She revealed enough information that we had probable cause to arrest her for both kidnapping and murder", said Tracy police department Sgt. Tony Shereman. http://abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/story?id=731398&page=1

Investigators haven't disclosed whether or not the 28 year old Sunday school teacher killed little Sandra in the church ajacent to the mobile home park. It has been disclosed that Melissa raped the 8 year old with a foreign instrument which may have been the cause of death.
Sympathy is beginning to appear for the Sunday school teacher as her friends and family tell media that Melissa is such a wonderful loving parent of her own five year old, who was friend and playmate with Sandra Cuntra. They just can't believe such a dreadful thing could have happened.
Media reports that CA. will go for the death penalty on this one. What do you think? Maybe the Sunday school teacher will get by with kidnapping, rape and murder because Christians will give a sympathy judgment call? "Christians simply do not do this kind of thing." Maybe they'll blame it on the devil?
So, this is another crime, an ugly and vicious crime, against an innocent defenseless child. Think the Sunday school teacher should get special treatment or should she receive life in prison without parole or the death penalty? Which would serve the best example for other would-be child killers?

No reason for special treatment, but I suspect she will be declared incompetent to stand trial. Or at least ther lawyer will try his/her best to get that ruling.
I doubt if this crime has anything to do with her religion, and everything to do with the woman's mental health issues.

Seems to me that members of her Sunday school class would have noticed a mental handicap in Mellisa's personality/character. (but they would have prayed for her instead of recommending psychiatric care) And, evidently she wasn't mental, but maybe she is the serial killer type, for now investigations are including another child, a seven year old whom Mellisa took without permission from parents. After hours of people searching Mellisa brings the child back home as if nothing had been amiss, as if it were a normal thing for her to do. Just pick up someone's kid and take it to wherever and do whatever. But with the seven year old there were a few witnesses who saw her with the child and probably why the child wasn't killed. There was no charges placed against Mellisa. Instead, the mother of the child was blamed, said to have had alcohol on her breath when she went to the police department reporting her child having been abducted. Makes no sense.
