Hi Doc,

I've been thinking about how far the Right Wing is willing to go in abolishing equal rights and conclude that they're willing to live under a totalitarian government of their own creation, thus busting the constitution per amendments or whatever else is on their religious agenda. So, this means that US citizens should begin looking at the way the RW are forcing their bible belief (their interpretation) onto everyone starting with their win in CA. People in that state must not be paying attention for I thought there were many more denominations in CA than the RR which would have considered losing their own rights in the process. The RR family plan is not only telling the gays they have no equal rights, but it's telling others that their rights are also on the chopping block.

This issue of gay rights is on the same level as that of free speech. Christians and anyone else may not approve of the gay lifestyle but should stand for the right to live as one likes to live. As I see it, this argument has nothing to do with forcing the Right Wing to become gay, or to brainwash their children. or invade their churches with gay preachers or force the churches to marry gay couples. Maybe someone can put a finger on just how these lies of the Right Wing have gotten so out of hand, so to speak. Why are so many Christians and other religious people of different faiths not affiliated with the RW afraid to say anything against them?

It is because we have become a nation of sheep who no longer have the will or desire to fight for ourselves, having been lead astray by those whom we trusted to care for us.

Baaaaa humbug doc. I see you're perfectly capable of fighting for yourself. :) And just think, there's millions more like you who believe in equal rights for others and of which that standard provides your own.

I think it was back in the late twenties or thirties that the Klan held power in politics bragging about their Christian values (from films I've seen). But then came scandal after scandal until the numbers dwindled into a few small groups. I thought of this when I saw the Right Wing re-elect the Republican Chambliss for Georgia. He made the boast that the world now knows Georgia still has conservative values. Palin came to his rescue in helping his re-election as she bellowed out her six-pack interest. But this is a small fringe of leftover confederates who haven't let go of the plantation mentality it seems. But even these will be forced to submit their "bad-ass" attitudes to a more growing civilized America.

Someone said the senseable people are no longer ignoring the Right Wing and have come to realize that their own equal rights have been threatened. More intelligent preachers are distancing themselves from that crowd of haters and that's progress in motion. Rick Warren might even be stepping over the Right Wing line as he seeks a more popular audience in political circles. I think he wants to be seen a Dr. Phil. :) Maybe he has even come to realize that everyone has family values whether Christian or not.
