Don't make this harder than it already is. (have I said all the right things?)
Oh yeah...one more...This chapter is over..lets just turn the page and move on...
But, to answer you question about what you don't get....
You don't seem to understand the difference between what is absolute truth, and what is our perception of absolute truth. Absolute truth is verifiable and testable, but only after we become aware of what the absolute truth is.
You said that you do not want this dance to end;
just yet.In other words, you want this dance to end on your terms, not mine.
As Jedi has said on more than one occasion...."How unattractive"..

Come on CS, you want to deprive me of your wit, you decisive insights, and so forth? Oh no, how can life be worth living after having sampled your gifts?
As to absolute truth I cannot recall you ever having presented it. So is that what I am not understanding? You have somehow provided an absolute proof of absolute truth? Just in case I missed it, would you be so kind as it present again? In the mean time, in the spirt of attempting to the assist the less fortunate, you can learn a great deal about truth at:
http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/truth/ Now even you must admit that Standford University is a pretty good place to obtain knowledge and wisdom. Here is one of my favorite quotes from the Standford site:
Quote:
A belief is true if and only if it corresponds to a fact.(Italics in original)
And here's the rub for me, in going back through this thread I cannot find any facts you have presented. Now I may have missed them, or misunderstood them, so perhaps you can state one or two.
And in reviewing this thread I am once again struck about what it reveals about the state/condition of your mind. And that causes me wonder if you want to end the "dance" because you have no valid arguement to make. And, in that regard, I have never considered this dialogue to be about winning/losing, but your remarks clearly indicate that you do; so can you tell us how you imagine this dance might ending, in any fashion, on your tems? My only observation about your terms is the unattracitiveness you mention.
The unattractiveness that stands out is the manner in which you present yourself and your cheesy attempts at sophistry. Is it your lack of depth and intellectual clarity that makes you want to not dance?
