Blame it on Buenos Aries.

"I developed a relationship with a friend that developed into something more"..

Excuses excuses. It was first reported that Sanford (Repugnut, South Carolina) was on a hike through the Appalachian Trail in his week long disappearance . No one could reach him, not his wife, children, or any members of his political party. Seems the FBI didn't even know where he was. Now we know he's admitted to having an affair with a woman in Argentina, IN ARGENTINA, where he really was hanging out. At taxpayers expense of course.

Sanford is yet another one of those "Christian family values" men who has a problem keeping Mr. Peter in his pocket all the while condemning and accusing others of having less morals and being less human than himself. There is more to this dirt-bag than meets the eye. He's a possible traitor to his country in that his political position entails possible secret information that may have been of interest to a foreign government. If he's crazy enough about his "lady friend" to go be with her in Argentina, not disclose his whereabouts to anyone in case of an emergency situation, how much deeper would he be willing to go in offering information?

Excuses are being given by Republicans, which are positioning themselves as the morally superior party in handling this situation.

Lily-white Sanford was critical of President Clinton's moral lapse. What a surprise, a hypocritical Republican.

Republicans are supporting Sanford's remaining in office while they complain about "incredible spending" and wastefulness of Obama. While they detour the spending of Sanford on his illicit affair at taxpayer expense and his not doing his job as governor. Governorship has taken a free vacation with Sanford.

Oh, and, Sanford said he prayed. Well, that certainly makes his adultery forgiven but not his responsibility to resign for his lack of performance in his office as governor. Supposedly he's a bible believer. Do you think Sanford has read about King David and how David was punished through the loss of his son? Or that God advised not to take his name in vain?

Sanford acts as if the media are irritating him and that they shouldn't be asking him questions. He's above all that, ya know.

What a jerk. What a complete and total asshole. Sanford isn't satisfied in publicly displaying his adultery once but now has admitted to other bump&grinds with other women. This dickhead wants attention. He's evidently feeling just great humilating his wife and children, his parents and his in-laws and his state of South Carolina. I'm surprised he hasn't taken Mr. Peter out of his pants and flashed it before the media.
