I haven't heard one republican ask for the resignation of Right Wing family values man and promise keeper Ensign.

He not only played on his lust for a piece-of-ass, but went and hired her family members in constructed positions within his republican party and with increased salaries. Clearly an abuse of power for which no republican has said anything against. What commentary I have heard from Republicans is how Democrats do the same thing.

Is irresponsiblity of members of government so commonplace now that no one is even interested in shaming them, spitting words of shame in their face? No one interested in how Republican Ensign used taxpayer money to invent jobs for his whore's relatives? Will silence resolve the problem or increase the liklihood of it happening more often?

I suspect that many members of congress have done the same thing. They will apologize as soon as they
get caught.

However, I haven't a received word yet that Ted Kennedy has apologized about Mary Jo Kopechne who he
allowed to drown at Chappaquiddick forty years ago.

Still waiting...

Was it ever proven that he allowed Mary jo to drown? I think it boils down to your word against his. And you're obviously wanting to imply that he murdered her. Were you there? Have you investigated the accident from official reports given, have you talked with Mary Jo's parents, friends, have you made inquiries?

So, what are you up to with this BS anyway?

Why don't you stick to some actual facts, like Sarah Palin's daughter got herself knocked-up and is parading herself as a good Christian example of family values for teenage girls? If she wants to look responsible she needs to keep her legs closed or use birth control pills. Sex is fun but it does have its consequences. Of course, she'll make as much money off her little consequence as she can, to further enable her Christian family values of course.

I don't suspect that many members of congress have done the same thing as Ensign. I expect elected members of congress to act with common sense and not put themselves in a situation where they can be blackmailed or otherwise cause damage to the interest of American citizens. We pay them to work not to "whorehop". We expect dignity and ethical behavior while they are in office.

Clean Sword is an ironic name for a dirty liar.

I haven't a clue to his handle. Maybe CS sees himself as a knight or a Christian warrior who slays his perceived enemies. When he stabs he withdraws his blade and no blood, thus a clean sword. But we know, because he told us, that he believes in torturing human beings. Maybe he then imagines cutting off heads or limbs. Anyone who likes torture and carries a sword is a weirdo imo. Not ot mention dangerous. I'm trying to imagine what CS looks like on any given day. Probably angry, snarled faced, running around naked as a jay bird, sword drawn at the ready to slice and dice his prey. He claims himself an Independent but he has Right Wing Repugnut written all over him. He's probably one of those card carrying RW extremist we've heard so much about. ;)

I find it scarry that "the statistics" show that church going Christians support torture. Especially as their Lord Jesus was tortured in the most cruelest way. And Christians have held his body up on a cross for 2000 years in rememberance of that torturous affair. Just looking at the cross of Christ should, in a sane persons mind, decide once and for all that torture is not a humane behavior. But I guess some Christians haven't looked at the cross to much lately and contemplated the message it sends. That's the sad state of Christianity nowadays.

Christians do tend to choose the most warlike monikers.

Guess it's part of the dysfunction. Onward Christian soldiers.

Poor bastards.

Pax!
