But, Obama has tripled America's debt just six months into his presidency. He says that the best
way out of debt is to spend our way out of it.

Now, I'm not an economist. But, I am a house owner, and if I were behind on my note,
I wouldn't go out and buy another house. I would make some cuts in my budget and/or
see where I could raise a little more capital. He is doing the exact opposite. He is trying
to borrow our way out of debt. You can pay off a credit card by putting it on another
credit card. But you still owe the same amount of money, plus more interest. Now,
multiply that by a trillion, and you've got real problems.

Government does not create wealth. The people do. They hire people. They create a
tax base. They provide services or produce products. He has hired people to run GM who
have never had any practical business experience in their lives. The new CEO of GM
admitted that he didn't know anything about running a car company. Yet, he is supposed
to make it profitable.

By, the way, I'm not a republican nor a democrat. I'm an independent. I believe in limited
government, just as the founding fathers did. The purpose of government is to help
create an enviroment where businesses can thrive or fail. Hundreds of companies
go bankrupt every year because of bad management or because no one will buy their
products. You take a chance on your dream. If it
doesn't work out...too bad. Don't expect the taxpayers to bail you out. If someone like
you or me makes a bad business decision, we live with it...and learn from our mistakes.
Taxpayers gave GM billions of dollars, and they still went bankrupt. A really good
use of taxpayer money, huh...

We have to allow people and companies to fail....We have to let them be held accountable for their own actions.
They will learn how not to do it next time.

Obama said that without the stimulus package, unemployment would go up to 8%.
Well, there was a stimulus package, and unemployment has gone up to 10%.
Biden said, "No one expected that."
What he meant was that no one in the White House expected that...

Obama is faced with disaster from the Republican party who have nothing to offer as a fix to the problem they created. Like you, all they can do is smugly tell people to become entreprenuers without assistance from the government.

Limited government means limited to your specifics. Everyone else can take a hike.

Government is not "running" the auto industry. Government bailed out the auto industry. This was necessary not just for one industry but to keep many other industries in business. Republicans are not smart enough to realize the extent to which the auto industry moves. Republicans want to bust this country by tearing down aid and assistance and limiting government spending to their own pockets. What would they do with a limited government that catered only to their whims? Didn't we see that manuevering in eight years of Bushites?

You didn't answer my question so let me ask you another. Instead of you blaming Obama because you don't like his policies, why not call your state representatives and ask them when they are going to put manufacturing businesses in your state and district so people can actually work and make money and buy those needed commodities such as food and clothing and other things called luxuries? I bet they promised to work for the people in your state, didn't they? So, why not make them work for you? Do you remember what any of your state representatives promised? At the moment they're getting paid to do nothing but run their mouth on TV and accuse Obama for the sorry state their state is in. You elected senators and congressmen and women to work to improve the lifestyles of citizens in your state. I dare you call them Monday morning and ask THEM just what the hell they're doing for you and your fellow citizens. And if they can't perform their elected duties or refuse to do so, then begin a campaign to fire their ass and hire someone who is willing to get the job done. Petitions with citizen signatures who are unemployed is where to start demanding accountability from your hired representatives. Heck, if nothing else, go have a sit-in on their front lawns. You are, after all, paying for their house or many houses.

If you do these simple things you sure won't have to worry about Obama. So, quit your bitchin and start investigating those state representatives you elected to help you.

and... IF you don't like abortions in your state, then tell your senators, congressmen, district representatives that you demand a ban statewide. You can do that ya know. And if they refuse, then don't blame Obama. Blame your state reps you and others like you elected. Call them "baby killers", protest in front of their political offices, and get legitimate signatures from citizens who don't want abortions in your state. Push until you get a majority signature line drawn. This way, you'll not see any of the crazies in your world of bible believing fundamentalist extremists blowing up clinics, shooting abortion doctors, because there will be none to shoot and kill. See, problem solved. Now why didn't you think of that.
