How did this white supremist manage to carry a loaded rifle down a Washington street and enter the holocaust museum and open fire? I thought Homeland Security had street camera's almost everywhere, especially places as the holocaust museum. This man didn't conceal or hide his weapon. He just walks right in and begins shooting. The damage would have been much worse had he been strapped with explosives.

The white supremist,James von Brunn, killed Steve Johns, a guard at the Museum. Brunn wanted to kill Jews in his hatred but was shot by two other guards. He now is recovering in a nearby hospital. He's 88 years old and has been a white supremist for most of his life. Reports say he served in WW2. His wife left him 30 years ago because of his "cancerous" hatred that was growing more violent each day. She evidently couldn't stand any more of him. Lukily she survived his cancer.

Brunn had already served 5 or more years in prison for walking into the Federal Reserve and threatening to kill Jews whom he believed were taking over the world and wiping out the white genetic pool. He had created a website about his hatred of Jews and blacks. (if its still up and running)

I wonder if he was also a ditto head of Limpbaugh and the other Right Wing "kill Obama" crowd.

He had a small rifle (a very old .22 rifle) under his raincoat. He's a convicted felon, so he can't legally buy or own firearms. He probably bought it off an unsuspecting old widow getting rid of her husbands guns.

I have to laugh at the media frenzy about "tracing" the rifle.

If the rifle is pre-68 it probably won't even have a serial number on it.

Just another poor nutty Fascist with a gun. There's plenty more where he came from, so this will happen again.

I didn't hear any news reports saying Brunn was wearing a raincoat. For pete's sake, it was 90ish degrees. He carried his weapon in full view from what is being said. Maybe he only had to walk a short distance from his auto. Maybe he had surveyed the area previously and knew when street cops would not be in that small area. Did he also know that no cameras were surveying the area? Why were'nt metal detectors used at the outside before entrance to the building?

Yes, I know he was a convicted felon. But that doesn't answer the question of WHERE were all those Homeland Security camera's? Don't you remember hearing about prevention of another "terrorist" attack? All the "we should do this and we should do that" and Washington being on the top list of protective areas?

btw, Brunn wasn't a fascist. He was not a redneck. He was a university graduate and served as Lt. in USN. He was of German descent which may have triggered his leaning in the white power movement. He was a white supremist Christian who believed his whiteness provided him with special privelege above everyone else in the U.S. and in the world. He feared and hated what he could not control - he hated equal rights for Jews and blacks. He saw his failures as caused by Jews and blacks and "whitey" Christians whom he considered as helping the Jews to destroy the white gene pool. He acted alone but influenced by the hatred spewed in Right Wing preaching and fueled by those with the same likemindedness.

Yes, I'm afraid you're right. There's lots more of them to come-out in their frustration and anger. But many more are pumping their hatred through politics. In the Right Wing, their sons and daughters volunteer to go and kill those of a different color. "I'm gonna get me a I-raqi" or "I'm gonna get me a raghead." Many are not enlisting as patriots but to satisfy their rascism. The military enlists white supremists.

The guard he shot actually held the door open for him to help him enter.

Somehow I doubt that the rifle was in full view.

Well, the only way to solve the problem of white supremists is for the Jews to take over the world. Appoint all black judges and pay whitie less than the illegal Mexican immigrants. The Jews could of course allow them equal earnings as other non-Hispanic immigrants though. Just to make for appearances sake.

I've been trying to imagine what it'd be like if the Jews took over the world. The fearful ones have created a characuture of the way they see the Jews, a really good movie could probably be made from it. Throw in Obama without his birth certificate and labeling as "bastard" and that should rake in billions from the Right Wing alone. They do so luv to hate.

The actor, Jon Voight, spoke for the Right Wing and said, "Obama is a false prophet", and that he was going to cause another holocaust.

Hollywood is missing out on some really big bucks if they don't begin making movies about this stuff. It has all the intrigue, strange and supernatural, conspiracies, world-wide castrophies, even the anti-Christ, all rolled into the Right Wing Supremacists movement.

Don't you think Rednecks are trying to protect their gene pool by marrying their siblings and killing black folk?
