Obama was gracious enough to speak at this all white (I didn't see anyone but white Catholics) university of Arizona, and after this bunch of Bushite religious hard nosed Right Wing nay sayers said "NO!" honorary presentation to you because you haven't shown enough 'experience'. And, "you support killing babies".

Does this remind anyone of the Fred Phelps family in their holier than thou protests?

I think Obama should have declined that invitation to begin with. What could he have been thinking? To mend the racist divide? What good did his appearance do for that bunch of ill equipped to face reality crowd? But I can't help but think that Obama had something going on in back of that big smile he flashed for the cameras. For whether they like it or not, he is the first black president elected by an overwhelming majority. And no matter how much the Catholics dislike him, Obama is loved worldwide. And that will forever be a thorn in the side of the Right Wing fundamentalists in their Catholic attire. :)

Do you think the protestors should have just stayed home and capitulate?

What do you think? I mean, about the whole situation you're witnessing in government?

What do I think? I think it's business as usual in America.

Most Catholics are smarter than that.

Most people are, too.

Obama pretty much ignores the flakes.

So should we.

Pax!
