last night the wizard of oz was on. i've seen that movie probably 50 times over the course of my life. it got me thinking about other films i enjoy watching more than once. for example, i could watch tootsie or driving miss daisy or to kill a mockingbird over and over, and find them as entertaining as the first time i saw them. what movies are like that for you? macfan

I like to see a good chick flick (romantic comedy) but I usually only see them once. My favourite movies – movies that have touched me deeply are: Cry the Beloved Country The Power of One A Midnight Clear The Client The Joy Luck Club Chariots of Fire The War (Kevin Costner) A Muppets Christmas Carol A Family Thing Snow falling on Cedars Changing Lanes The Untouchables Second-hand Lions And movies that I like are: The Dream Team The Odd Couple II Matrix Waking Ned Devine The National Treasure (s) The Mummy(s) The Pirates of the Caribbean(s) The Indiana Jones (es) Pride and Prejudice Sense and Sensibility Before Sunrise/Sunset
It wouldn’t be Christmas without “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” and “Trapped in Paradise”.
I love British TV shows and have the following on tape/dvd All Creatures Great and Small Flambards Fawlty Towers To the Manor Born The Good Life Yes, Minister & Yes, Prime Minister (Yes, I’m spoiled)
Wish I had time to make a full list.

Dang Ham, too bad you're hitched, cuz I wanna marry you. Nice choices.
My list:
Star Wars (the original three) Monty Python and the Holy Grail Monty Python's The Life of Brian Die Hard Miss Congeniality Finding Nemo Incredibles MASH Speed Heartbreak Ridge True Grit (and every other John Wayne movie that features Maureen O'Hara) The Quiet Man Rooster Cogburn Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang Only You Terminator 1 and 3 Indiana Jones 1-4 The Mummy Underworld Heroes Season 1 (I like the rest, but own the first season) Ghostbusters She’s the Man Christmas Vacation European Vacation A Christmas Story A Christmas Carol (nearly all I've seen I like, in most conflagrations) Pan's Labyrinth Sixth Sense Parent Trap (the original with Haley Mills) Escape to Witch Mountain In Search of the Castaways When Harry Met Sally Steel Magnolias Dante's Peak Election Sense and Sensibility Love, Actually Hope and Glory Hackers Ferris Bueller's Day Off Sixteen Candles Ironman Weeds (I know, another series, but bizarre and interesting) Bladerunner Daryl Educating Rita LOR (all of 'em, even the old cartoons) Lion, Witch, Wardrobe (the new movies are great too - beautiful cinematography) Twister
Any disaster movie nearly - I love them. The disaster itself, but also the survival aspect after the fact.
