Speaking of sunshine, Dot.....are you suffering? You should get one of those light visors to wear. I remember seeing them on one episode of "Northern Exposure." They seemed to help people a lot. Pax!

I probably am suffering Logos. Last year at this time the two mandalas that I did were called "Solitude" and "January Blues".
Sorry for being a bitch Ham.
I am going to take a little break from Xn until I have something constructive to offer.
Bye for now, Sola

If I did that, you'd never see me again. Oops.....maybe that's what you want.

The Real Logos wrote: The funny thing is.....Ham won the debate and Ham was wrong according to most people. I think this has to do with the nature of empiricism, logic and reason. The nature of this universe is illusion. The atheist and the theist study this illusion to come to his/her conclusion. I believe that logic and reason and empiricism show "no god" after all, empirically where is s/he? But god is beyond this illusion and yet hidden within it. Logic and reason are tools that have a limit just as language, upon which reason and logic depend, has its limits. Basically all this stuff we call "the world" is illusion, not real, and God is merely trying to wake us up from our collective dream. I also do not believe that God created this universe. I believe the collective mind of all sentient beings created this universe as a part of the dream of separation from God. As such WE are the ones hiding not god.

Ham on Rye You won the debate and Woofie ran for cover. The benefit[good] that you provided toward his education is priceless. Through the coming years Woffie will have renewed his interpretations of the bible and will think about the points you provided in debate. His faith in his previous beliefs will be replaced with new beliefs showing his past beliefs to have been a lie. And should he actually study long enough he would come out of his religion digusted at how he has been fooled all his life. You asked Sola "what method do you use to determine anything about God?" The "method" is the time in/of his non-existence. ( there is no God ) Where was the biblical God before the prophets invented him? There were other gods in Egypt and Assyria long before the biblical god appeared from the imagination of men. Proving the Hebrew god did not exist 3500 years before the Israelites is a pretty easy task. Egypt had a beginning in its civilization even earlier, and whatever gods were worshiped had no connection to the biblical god invented by the Hebrews. "I tend to think the best of others." That's well and good, but I think it wise to suspect others as instinct of the senses demand. Total trust or confidence in others decreases your senses and leaves you open for harm, and people can and will harm you if you remain vunerable to their own survival instincts. imo, beware of man, for he is your worse enemy in this life. It's your life against his, your ideology against his, so never lose your sense of self preservation.
