Guess who deleted the entire debate off his forum?! Perhaps he realized the redundancy of having the entire debate posted twice in cyberspace?

Yeah, it went about the way I thought it would. Not that I actually read all of it, but I did take a look at some of it......and I found the content, the conduct, the outcome......all unsurprising. Why Woofy would even start it up is the big question. Did he actually not realize he was gonna get creamed? Hard to believe. Pax!

Quote: The Real Logos: Why Woofy would even start it up is the big question. O.K. This one stumped me too. He was quite anxious to debate me, posting every few hours, “Wanna Debate? Huh? Huh? Huh?” Even acting a bit petulant over it. I figured he had either read some book he thought was the cat’s pajamas, or it was suggested to me by a clever lurker he may have gained a ghostwriter. Thus I was prepared for a far more in-depth look at the topic. But once we were into it…there was nothing great about it at all. The Real WOFman re-remembered why he doesn’t like debating in the first place. Not cut out for it. Maybe it didn’t generate the interest in his forum that he hoped. Regardless, if he thought he had accomplished anything, he would have left it up, I would think.

I think that answer may be real simple. I'm guessing Woofy was just a bit bored and lonely and had a need to be the center of attention for a while. I hope it was worth it. Pax!

None of it is surprising, Ham. You had him beaten in the debate from the first paragraph. He was quoting from "Intelligent Design" works, and you were challenging those ideas, but also saying, "Look, this isn't about coming AGAINST Evolution or the Big Bang, it is about showing PROOF of God" (my paraphrase)."
He could not do that - the debate was lost from the beginning.
The aggravation from him was simple frustration - he could not win, so he tried to nitpick at things, but not understanding formal debate process, he nitpicked at the wrong things. He deleted the thread because it was an embarassment - and probably because it could shake someone's faith, and we wouldn't want the truth to do THAT, now, would we?

I always think of Intelligent Design as Identity Disorder. What's the deal with Woffe? Doesn't he allow atheists to post on his forum? Well, I'm sure I wouldn't be welcomed to contribute my views.

"Why Woofy would even start it up is the big question".
Probably to cast Ham as the mean ol persecutor of Christians. "Those who follow Christ will suffer persecution". It's an expected result of ignorant arguments. The Fundamentalists count themselves as fools for Christ, and without wisdom of science, unlearned, as babes who exist on faith alone. But it's important for them to let other people know these things for without setting themselves up for the fall, they can't seem to redeem themselves as the victors.

I'm not surprised by the outcome either. Good job hammy! Maybe Woffie should have debated me because I am such an easy win.

Thank you, Jedi Mind Trick.
I can’t help but notice that immediately after The Real WOFMan posted his debate challenge to me, the first person to respond was you—saying one sentence: “You have no argument, just bald assertions.”
After more than 20,000 words (!), the whole thing actually boiled down to that one sentence.
You are either incredibly succinct, or incredibly prophetic or both. Take a bow. *smile*

I reckoned woffie had no chance. I read his opening salvo and thought "What a waste of effort, Hammie will moider da bum."
I'd like to see Hammie try to demolish **** - the unprovable, undeniable, unnameable, elusive generator of everything. But I won't push the issue.

You thought? That thought had about the same validity as most of your thoughts. Nobody has and nobody ever will, prove that God does not exist. Pax!

Oh for your own sake, read the bible. It proves that God does not exist in people who do not believe in Him. Even in ancient days, those non Hebrew people who worshiped their own gods, the Hebrew god did not exist among them. They did not recognize the Hebrew god as an all powerful entity and certainly did not sing praises to him. So you see Logos, the Hebrew god can only exist in the minds of those who desire him as their god. They imagine him in whatever likeness they choose, be it rewarder or punisher, and they excuse his neglect when he doesn't show up for their special occassions or kill people they don't like. Even most of them at some time conclude he is worthless and get back to their self interest of survival. pssst.. sometimes, I go into deep thoughts that wear my brain out. Then I just take a nap and let my brain rest and then I'm all better.

The thread has not been deleted. It is invisible. It will be made visible when I have the time to respond. Ham was not interested in a real debate. He was using the "How many angels can fit on the point of a pin, and why would God put them there?" style of debate. He answered nothing from a scientific viewpoint. I will be making my last response in the near future.
Note to Ham, creation -v- evolution has everything to do with the existence of God.
