If your father is T.D. Jakes, you wouldn't be eager to tell him that you're gay.

Penis flashers no longer arrested for indecent exposure? Was Jermaine purposely using his dad's ministry as a threat to undercover officers? Seems he would have instead tried to keep his dad's name out of the public record. Doesn't show much respect, if any, for his dad to involve him in such sexual activity.

"Jermaine Jake's attorney, Faith Johnson, issued a written statement this week. "We are aware of potential allegations involving Jermaine Jakes and are undertaking our own investigation of these allegations at this time," the statement said. "Given an apparent government investigation, we have no further comment at this time."

Government investigation? Why would this circumstance be taken out of that local community for conviction and prosecution? Or am I missing the point of attorney Johnson's statement?

Flashers should be made to stand in front of a mirror and piss on themselves, and while an audience pokes fun at their weeny.

Unfortunately, the young Mr. Jakes might not have felt he HAD to resort to sexual activity in a park - trying to be in hiding - if his father and other prominent ministers did not condemn his actions as being sinful or dirty.

Frankly, I'm glad that these things keep happening to prominent anti-gay ministers. The more people see the hypocrisy, the less inclined they will be to listen to the bigotry.

Why didn't Jermaine take his sexual activity to his private home or apartment? I don't know about other people, but I certainly don't want to see perverts slinging their weeny's around in public parks or shopping malls or school grounds or wherever. Is Jermaine a pervert? Definition of a flasher would indicate that he is. Maybe, if he is a homosexual, he has been made to think he has a right to flash his penis and act like an idiot in public. Maybe he even thinks he has a right to piss on people in the park.

Jermaine's father has a right to preach inside his church domain against homosexuality or whatever else he feels is sinful acts in controling his congregation. He isn't a hypocrit in that regard. But he doesn't have a right to make laws outside his church promoting unequal rights of citizens. He can ban people from his church for what he believes are biblical sins just as long as he doesn't attempt to control people in the public citizenry. If he were allowed to set laws according to his belief and outside his church, then he might invade peoples homes and start telling them how they should conduct their private lives. Religion will only go so far as it is allowed to go.

People also have the choice of whether or not they want to attend his church and follow his beliefs. I haven't read that Jakes allows homosexuals to attend his church, but it is his decision along with his administrative body. I assume they discuss these things and make decisions.
