I've had a passing interest in Hawaii - i'd like to see it recovered for the Crown but that's another matter.
Recently there's been a series of Beach Patrol shows featuring lifeguards there. Those beaches are dangerous. They have stinging jellyfish, rip tides, drunken surfers, kids left to roam all day, homeless alcoholics and their various feuds. It's crazy.
Now, if they lifted all the people off those islands they might be paradise. Why is it people ruin everywhere their feet touch the ground?

PEOPLE were there for many thousands of years and things were going fine.
Then the damned Redneck Christians showed up in their tall sailing ships and destroyed paradise.
Obviously, the problem is not "people."
The problem is evil people.
Pax!
