I think that Doris the Ugly Stepsister suffered an injustice.
I wrote to Larry King to see if he can do anything about it (he was the voice of Doris in Shrek III)
Quote:
Dear Larry King,
I am writing to you as Doris the Ugly Stepsister.
What I like about Shrek is the fact that people are not judged by appearances and stereotypes but by their deeds, thus it irritated me that MGA Entertainment would make dolls of all the pretty princesses, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Princess Fiona, Rapunzel and Snow White but not include Doris the Ugly Stepsister who was more a part of the team than the traitorous Rapunzel.
What a great opportunity was missed to help promote tolerance in society of transgendered people.
What can you do about this Larry? Don’t you think you (as Doris) should have been included?
What do you think - should she have been one of the dolls?
