Cain slew Abel – Cain was a tiller of the ground. Agriculture involves regulation, measuring of land, ownership, walls, enclosures, routine, systems, a life of order.

Shepherds did not have to do much, just look after their flocks, throw stones at lions and stuff.

The organisers resent the free spirits and stifle/kill them.
The spirit of worship pre dates any religion or religious edifice or structure. The worship spirit is free and uncheckable and consequently dangerous to those who wish to regulate, control, shape and impose order on the people. The straights’ need to control causes them to find a way to neutralise the imagined threat the outsiders pose.

Cain slew Abel

The regulaters build a temple, a place of worship, and thus impose their world view on society. The free spirits are alienated – they either stay outside the religious stucture as wild men, hermits (cool or otherwise) , ‘dangerous heretics’ and the like or they compromise their worship instinct and conform (under duress) to the norm. Thus God is worshipped legitimately by following the traditions, rituals, prayers and sacrifices the temple heirarchy institutes and evolves. The priesthood maintains a hold over the souls of the people. Appalling futures in the hereafter are described and promised for those who reject the orthodoxy.
Wonderful music is composed, wonderful prayers are prayed, wonderful messages are preached, wonderful robes are worn – “surely god must be in this place”.

A temple is a great money spinner for those who worship mammon. Temple taxes are demanded, tithes are instituted, orthodoxy imposed and dissenters outlawed and subject to punitive repression. Society is formed around the official worship sites. Order is achieved. Mission accomplished.

The choice of worship practice, as we now know it today, demands regulation by/through its body of elected leaders whereby it provides a stable enviroment within its structured "church". You have pastors, sunday school teachers, music/choir instructors, missionaries[prostelytes] to foreign countries, moneychangers in CPA's,and even lawyers, whose business it is to give an accounting of funds and defense of the church. You have oversight committee's who keep watch over the flock (sometimes as spys), also to act as media consultants and assign tasks to members for community outreach events such as food drives. Everything should run smoothly you'd think, but alas, there's always a rotten apply to spoil the bunch.

The Gentile Church began as a service industry, established for the betterment of its members. Working in a unionized manner, it's purpose was to supply its members the benefit of life sustaining order. It was originally a "tuff-love" association and therein did not concern itself with aid and assistance to those outside its domain. "Feed the membership" was its motto, and "resist the evil" by not pandering to government politics its goal.

The Gentile Church was totally separate from Judaism. The Gentile Church existed before Israel, before Pauls gospel and before Jesus came on the scene. The Gentile Church had no specific "god" as all gods were seen as equal superstition, and its Temple[church] was man-made.
