I felt inclined to begin reading the Anastasia series of books (Ringing Cedars series) as of late and just finished the first one. I'd heard of these books from several people and talked w/ someone about them at the Raw Spirit Festival in the summer. Apparently there is a whole wave of small organic farms springing up all over Russia as a result of people being inspired by these books. They illustrate simple living ... getting back in touch w/ nature, the land -- simple needs & wants -- small communities -- moving away from large city living, among many other things. The bookstore near my office had only the first book (Anastasia) and the fourth (Co-creation), so I just started the fourth. Has anyone else here read them?
