You are all bluff because if you did even a quick Google search on Jim Jones and atheism you would see that he was and atheist, certainly in his later years. He would stomp on the bible and call it a book of lies and he had nothing but praise for the Soviet Union for goodness sakes. And if you knew anything about the Raelians you would know that they claim atheism. AAAANNNDDD if you would read anything I've written about atheism you'd see that I use careful distinctions not broad brushes and I certainly have no chip on my shoulder with atheism in general, but only what you do and people like you do. It's the bigotry and hate thinly disguised by a phony intellectualism, that's what does it for me. Those are the things that specifically turn me off whether they are coming from atheists, christians or whatever. Note that I am not talking about YOU the person, but what you do which is all I know about you from your posting here. You are, perhaps, a very friendly kind and loving person in real life, I don't know anything but what I see and what I see is that you give no ground of decency no charity to Jews and Christians. To you, apparently, they are nothing but bad, bad, bad. I know and love several fundamentalist Christians and though I do not agree with their theology I know them to be the most kind and loving people I know. I guess that this is probably true for just about any group except those who champion hate.

Just because you want to claim Jones an atheist doesn't mean that he actually was an atheist. Have you actually read from survivors reports about his type of Christianity? He may have disagreed with the mainline Christian thought but he didn't preach atheism.

Raelians were believers in UFO's, Alien Abductions, or rescues. I haven't really been interested enough to research their beliefs in the supernatural, or out-of-space doctrines, if it could be called that.

What I find Jedi, is your objection to my arguments against both Judaism and Christianity, but especially Judaism. You seem to want to protect "the Jews" as if they are your idols of the supernatural or something. Like the Fundamentalists Christians who have made idols of "the Jews"[Israel], you seem to go overboard when anyone says anything against "the Jews". And so you become a hero of sorts in defending "the Jews" against me, who you have labeled "anti-semitic" in slothing off your anger. But there is no reason for your anger, except that you have grown accustomed to also believing that "the Jews" are somehow created supernaturally, that they are above reproach, and no one should say anything against them. This tells me YOU have a serioius problem not only with reality but of everything else.

I'm not understanding you. Just what is it that you think that I do except post my opinion and speculations here? Do you see me rioting in the streets, shoplifting, killing innocent people, lying, cheating, not paying my taxes? Do you see me in any racist group or attending a Christian church that pumps hatred toward any group?

So, all I can gather from your posts is that you hate me for not loving Judaism or Christianity and giving my opinion on various and certain aspects of individuals who claim membership within those forms.

You're right about one thing. I give no charity or decency to either Jews or Christians in their behavior. Both Judaism and Christianity are death cults, imo, based on evidence I've seen and heard.

Actually Jedi, it's a most healthy mentality in being able to observe the worse of humanity in their religious self superiority. I can sit back and observe all the jealousy, envy, and hatred of their own making. What about you? Do you not observe how these religions breed hate and violence passing it onto their children? Can you not see how their influence endangers your own peaceful life? How are we humans to progress with any dignity at all if we do not speak out against such deathly circumstances fostered upon us by these religious fanatics?

I think you should begin contemplating the actual world in which you live. Change for good can only come about through opposing the religious death march. Or haven't you, by chance of some sort, not noticed that Jews and Christians have the power to kill you? And if you look really closely, you'll not see an atheist leading these packs of wild dogs.

Your world is as black and white as any fundamentalist. Sorry, I don't want to see the world through your eyes.

Your seemingly contempt for healthy survival is imo, unusual.

While the world trys to move on progressively through education and technologies, religion keeps backing societies into little corners. Just read about what one rabbi thinks of humanity as compared to himself and what others of his persuasion go along with. I'm sure the Christian Religious Right supports rabbid Rosen. They want to kill, and leave open the opportunity in labeling and demonizing whoever objects to his/their beliefs.

You might be an "Amelikite" IF ... they want you to be in serving their purpose of self superiority. Question is, will everyone allow themselves to be demonized, even killed, based on Jewish fundamentalists, "crazies" who use the old testament story to kill at will?

She really doesn't understand what any of us are talking about and keeps regurgitating her views with great enthusiasm no matter what the size and strength of the evidence to the contrary.

Why is it, do you think, that the few are ruling the many? Could it be that the many are just going along for the ride? When the many say nothing in protest against the few crazy hate filled warmongering fundamentalist extremist in their own religion of Jews and Christians, then aren't the many basically agreeing with the few nut cases leading them to death?

Why do you think the majority of Christianity haven't run the likes of Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, John Hagee - who are examples of the few TV evangelicals who love seeing their fellow Christians destroyed in war and death, out of business? Could it be that these few are allowed to represent the many? And so, the odds in your survival rate is decreased, and so ALL Christians and ALL Jews live in fear of "terrorists"?

Knowing then, what the problem is, why are Christians and Jews reluctant to fix it?

I have to admit, just the other day while shopping, and putting a few cans of corn into my grocery buggy, the cans began to roll around. So I said, "come here corn", while placing them in a neat little row in order to make room for a turkey breast. Got a good deal on it to, only $9.95. But the corn had increased in price to $1.05 per can, so I only purchased three cans. And I threatened the corn "if you don't sit still I'll put your butt back on the shelf".

So.. Logos, should you see some of us women talking to our canned goods, don't be surprised, and stare as if the person were crazy.. no no, just remember that even your wife may at times feel the crunch of having to shop to keep from starving.

And.. so how's things going with your sudden wealth in the oil business??
